What is the electronic device which can detect ghosts and what exactly does it detect?
I wonder as to what the device could detect since my gut instinct tells me that most ghosts or other paranormal occurrences are beyond the realm of subatomic particles (such as photons, or more generally the elementary particles quarks, leptons, and gauge bosons) and atomic structure (proton/neutron nucleus with electron orbitals, em radiations), so I wonder...a change in temperature, certain sounds, certain light, (although this is still dealing with atomic structure and/or electromagnetic radiation), etc.? Or is it more a matter of intra-/extra-dimensional phenomena detection? Or a consequence of matter/antimatter?
And I am not questioning the validity of ghost detection or not. I need this information for a story I'm writing, a sci-fi story, and so I need some scientific background of what the device detects and how it accomplishes this detection.
If anyone knows of a web site I could read to further understand this, that would be great.
