VHF / UHF or 40 Channel CB Radio?
My family and I do a lot of camping, I'd be able to come to speak on the general chat and in the case of an emergency, cell phones do not always cut. 4W I have a CB radio, but I'm looking for a bet level. I tried to enter the amateur radio. More specifically, a VHF / UHF dual-band access with aa NOAA weather channels. Very new to this and not even sure what we should seek, or if it's worth. Anyone with any advice or can point ONYONE me in the right direction? Thank you.
