I am looking into a Sony Ebook reader. Can someone tell me if the books from google books are limited previews or the entire book?
Ok, that explains it. I was trying to decide if the Sony Reader is worth it without having to purchase all of the titles. Google seems to have very few choices in the Public Domain section as opposed to all of the books with limited reviews.

For Google books that are in the public domain, you can get the entire book. But actually there are other place like this website, which provide a lot of free books readable on ebook readers like Sony Reader or Amazon Kindle:

I'm not sure if it helps, but I'll suggest you to go for the Kindle instead of Sony Reader. The Kindle is better because it has free wireless and text-to-speech function. There are more ebooks you can find available for the Kindle, and books on the Kindle are quite a lot cheaper too. There are some good comparison between them here:

And in case you don't know, Amazon has recently put a price slash on the Kindle 2, and it adds in international wireless access and native PDF support... So take the chance if you want it.
