Is it ok if my amazon parrot eats the dead skin off of her feet? Will she be ok?
There doesn't seem to be any apparent harm in it so far. It's just gross to look at.
They don't it is, usually unless you see her peeling off large sections and slowly eating it they are oftne just cleaning their feet from little crumbs or what not they ge ton their feet since they sepnd so much time on them. but if your bird is peleing skin from their feet or pays too much attention to it you better get her to an avian vet to make sure everything is alright.
