Metal Detector Bounty
You hear stories all the time, people with metal detectors combed over the tailings pile and the pursuit of large gold nuggets. It is so difficult to find gold if you start with a research plan before starting.

any other person with a Bounty Hunter Fun Finder Compact Metal Detector?
I want a metal detector and I was wondering if a good beginner metal detector.
My son and I have the Bounty Hunter "Treasure Hunter" and used it in Colorado, Oregon and Alaska to find the money and gold. Can attest to the quality of our particular model, and assume that most of Bounty Hunter line is comparable to what we use. I think you can be sure your choice. I just recommend you get the best choice can afford. It is always easier to save a little more and get a better model to buy one and then start the new savings plan until you can afford to buy one you should have bought instead. Good luck with the hunt.
