Most wines are not intended to be stored for long periods of time. However, some types are designed for older and really improve the character already stored (to some extent). There was even some wines that have remained intact, while they are stored over a hundred years!
You may not want to store the wine for a hundred years, but following these five guidelines will ensure their bottles of good will, good living, five, ten, fifteen years. I recommend investing in a cellar or wine cabinet, if you have very good but if not, following the guidelines here will help a lot!
1. Light
Light is the enemy of wine. It breaks down molecules and accelerates the chemical reactions that lead to ruin. If possible, keep your wines away from direct sunlight. There are many companies that make cabinets and cellars for this purpose. Less light is better. This is the most important factor in the deterioration of any food or drink.
2. Humidity
Cork is the protector of his wine. To work properly, should be completely sealed the neck of the bottle. When the cap is dry, open small gaps between the cork and bottle, and air pollutants allowed in the wine. To keep the cork drying, storing wine in a relatively wet. Wine cabinets are made from features moisture control for that reason. You will know if the cap was drying by opening the bottle and the cork is dry and brittle. It is also a sure sign that the wine has gone bad. Therefore: the humidity is good!
Another way to keep the cork from drying out is to store all the bottles on the side. This ensures that the cork remains moist always wine itself. It is always desirable.
3. Temperature
A class of basic chemistry teaches us that all chemical reactions slow when the temperature decreases. This also happens with wine, the aging of wine is a chemical reaction. The temperature generally recognized for storage of wine from 55 degrees F. This is cold enough to keep wine from spoiling without freezing. There is also a good temperature, and will not heat the wine before serving!
4. Vibration
Just as high temperatures, vibration wakes up your wine and accelerates the chemical reaction that breaks down and does not. Keep your wines off the beaten track, where you can sit in peace and not suffer the effects of vibration.
5. After the opening
All types of wines go bad fairly quickly after opening. White wines for a period of 3 to 5 days, but only if they are immediately cork (to limit contact with oxygen in the wine) and put in the fridge (to stop chemical degradation of wine). Try this as soon as possible.
Red wines should not be refrigerated. Just put a cork thereon as soon as possible and set aside. Depending on the type of wine should last a week or more if corked soon.

Mold is also in paints, because of the humidity. I'm in the tropics and found some small white dots?
I found some white spots on oil paintings and remove them, I am not sure of chlorine that can change the color of the paint. sun not a problem because these paintings have indirect lighting. thoughts ...
If this is the side of the painting, you should be able to brush it with a damp (not wet) and detergent. Rinse with a clean damp sponge and dry immediately with a dry absorbent cloth. I would not use bleach unless you know for sure the pictures were painted. It will not keep mold from returning, but steadily wipe with a dry cloth should drive more slowly. Mold on the side of the fabric must be treated by an ecologist.
