1992 Nissan 4x4 truck gas and temperature read wrong?
Every time I turn the car on the two indicators is the maximum. temperature sensor go to all sorts of HOT (I pass just the engine). and the gas meter is completed and when the meter shows almost half of the tank when the tank is almost empty. Can someone PLEASE HELP?? Whats wrong here??
Sounds like a wiring problem in Table board or the panel itself. If I bought the Chilton manual and study the details of Nissan wiring and dashboard. I suppose the cluster is in a word or lock connector attached that is short-circuited. My brother had a similar problem with his truck and all I did was going to a demolition site and a new set of instruments with a broken one. If you are still the same bunch back and check wiring board to the temperature sending unit and wiring board of directors at its fuel gauge sending unit in the fuel tank. If the wiring is good, then the problem is more likely that the float connected to the sending unit in the tank. I was releasing the fuel tanks with a large number of vehicles and I today.
